Panamá – Food Baskets and Hygiene Kits for Low Income Families in Caimitillo Centro – Pastoral Juvenil, Capilla San Antonio de Padua
The community of Caimitillo Centro has a population of approximately 2,500 most of which are humble and work in the informal sector. The families that live in this community have between 5 and 8 members and many are unemployment as a result of the quarantine that has been imposed to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The donation of $ 3,300 will finance the purchase of 120 food baskets as well as hygiene kits for 40 families whose breadwinners are unemployed due to the quarantine in Caimitillo Centro.
The Youth Pastoral of the San Antonio de Padua Chapel will be the executing agency of the project and will be in charge of supervising it. The project was approved by the Board of the Association of Retirees on July 15, 2020 and the funds were disbursed on July 17.
