Video of From Your Sofa: From Discovery to Research to Conservation Action

On November 7 Lina Valencia, a conservationist and primatologist, discussed her work at re:wild, a conservation organization founded by Leonardo DiCaprio, and the importance of protecting indigenous, Afro-descended, and local communities and their territories. She highlighted the urgent need to protect the rarest and most threatened species in the world, particularly amphibians, and the importance of a coordinated approach to their conservation. The meeting also touched on the need for increased visibility and awareness of the Harlequin Totes, the role of social media and newsletters in raising conservation awareness.
