SUBJECT: Call for Elections 2022
In accordance with the Bylaws of the Retirees Association, we call on all active members to vote to fill the six (6) open positions of the Board of Directors. As indicated in our memorandum of December 20, 2021, three (3) executive positions are to be filled for two (2) years: President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Also, for a two (2) year term there are four (4) vacancies for Directors of which one (1) will be for a Director residing outside of the United States.
The elections will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 8 of the Bylaws and the Regulations Covering Voting and Counting. Since 2016 the Association has implemented an electronic voting system for the election of Board Directors, this year the voting process will be managed by “Survey & Ballots,” a company that offers voting online and by telephone.
Those members who do not have a registered email with the Association, or who requested to keep the right to vote by paper ballot, will receive by regular mail the electoral package.
- Voting will start on Monday, February 7th, 2022, and the deadline to submit your vote is Friday, April 8th, 2022 at 5:30p.m. regardless of voting method.
- The Forty-second Annual Meeting of the Association will take place virtually and has been schedule Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at 3:30p.m. In this meeting the results of the 2022 Election will be announced.
