The “Volunteer of the Year” award aims to recognize the valuable volunteer work done by many of our IDB Retirees Association members. As in last year, there will be two awards, one for the volunteer living in the United States and one for a volunteer living in any other country in the region. Recipients will receive up to the equivalent of US $ 1,000.00 each, which will be donated to the institution where the volunteer service was provided.
So, please present us as soon as possible with the candidates for the award, including presenting yourself, since the resources are transferred to the corresponding charity. We also urge you to submit potential candidates for a non-monetary award, in recognition.
Nominations are made by completing the attached Nomination Form, sending it no later than April 17, by email to the IDB Retirees Association Office: firstname.lastname@example.org, or by mail to Claudia Perazza, Attention: Volunteer of the year Selection Committee to: 6804 Buttermere Lane, Bethesda, MD 20817.
The winner will be recognized in the video presentation of the President of the Association on April 23, since, due to the circumstances of COVID-19, the Annual Assembly will not be held in person.
